We learn from Mr. Dan Hecbt, who was present and saw the duel, that Sheriff Edwards, of Gadsden county, Florida, and a negro were both shot in a deadly duel at close quarters yesterday juet beyond Climax, on the River Jonotion branch of the Plant 8ystem. It seeme that the sheriff was guard ing a negro prisoner whom he had arrested for some crime. 8ome eight or ten shots were fired at close range.
