Chairman Ray, of the boose com
mittee on judiciary, today Intro-
duced an auti-anarchy measure
which will probably be the basis
of legislation on that subject in
the house. It provides the death
penalty for assaults on the presl
dent or other executive officers.
It is made a felony to advise or
teaeh the overthrow-of the govern
meat or any interference with
government officer. The death
penalty is also provided for con
spiracies |in this country leading
to the killing of a foreign king,
emperor, president or other ruler.

to Virginia Dare, the first while
child born in the United States,
