committee, was read and. upon regu
lar vote unanimously passed:
•’WHEREAS, the City or Thom
asville. (la., desires to borrow the
sum of $10,000.00, to be due and
payable December .‘list. 1916, *nd
at a rate of interest not to exceed

“WHEREAS, said money is to be
borrowed to pay the current ex
