their injury Tuesday in automobile
accident at Milner. The car in
which they were riding overturned
while crossing the tracks of the
Cehtral of Georgia Railway. The
car was completely demolished and
Mrs. Peacock and Coates were pain
fully injured. They werA taken to
Bamesville for treatment.

Hardwick is today at the bedside of
'his daughter Mrs. Dr, Fred Rawlins
in Sandersville. The governor re
ceived. a telegram Tuesday inform
ing him of his daughters illness and
he and Mrs. Hardwick left at once.
The governor was forced to cancel
several engagements as a result It
is not thought that Mrs. Rawlins
condition is serious and it is hoped
that she will be out again in a short
time.

persona were killed and a fourth
died from Injuries received in a
boiler explosion at the Evans saw
mill in the northern part of the
county today.
