Advertise Always
When to advertise, is a question many merchants ash.
Those who found advertising most successful are the men
who never let up, but keep everlastingly at it. Greater re
sults are accompliahed through a consistent and continued
advertising effort than when space is used periodically. To
let up, is to let your competitor get the start on you. He is
wide awake and goes after the business. The public reads
the “ads” every day, and if yours is not in the paper, they
do not know what you have to offer. You must keep them
informed of what you are doing and what you have for
them. They expect it of you as a live, wide-awake mer
chant, and the money you spend for advertising space will
come back to you many times over in increased profits.
The columns of this paper are open to you. They arc
read daily by hundreds of people—buyers—who have learn
ed to watch the ads for bargains and offerings of the home
town merchant. Are you playing fair with -hem by letting
them know what you have? THE TIME TO ADVER
TISE IS ALL THE TIME
NEW DEVELOPMENT IN
MONTANA TRAGEDY
Havre, Mont., Nor. 1.—Following
flndi by two Havre doctors yesterday
afternoon that the bullet which killed
Mrs. Margaret Carleton in the double
killing here last Friday morning,
ranged downward through her body
sharp angle, Instead ot directly in
and slightly upward, as was testified
the inquest by Dr. Carl Foss, civil
authorities were prepared last night
make further Investigation of the
tragedy.
Prosecutor Max Kuhr stated that
the development warranted a new de-
lnvestigatlon and aald that further evi
dence was expected. He was called
to attend the post-mortem examination
of Mrs. Carleton's body as soon as the
discovery of the ballet's course was
made by Drs. W. F. Hamilton and A.
E. Williams.
The examination was made at ths
request of Mrs. Carleton's mother,
Mrs. Joseph Pyle, of Butte, MonL
The bullet was found by the physi
cians in the muscles beside the spinal
column.
Neither Dr. Hamilton nor Mr. Kuhr
would comment on the possibility of a
self-inflicted bullet following the path
of the one which killed Mrs. Carleton.
At the request of Mr. Pyle the home
of the Rev. Leonard J. Chrlstler, who
was killed at the same time and placa
with Mrs. Carleton, wai opened by the
owner of the house yesterday after
noon. Local authorities and a number
ot newspaper representatives with
Pyle examined'the contentsof draw
ers, suitcases and tranks in an unsue-
cesaful effort to find evidence that the
gun which discharged the fatal shots
was the property ot the Christian.
