SNAPPY SESSION OF CITY
COUNCIL HELD LAST NIGHT
Last night’s meeting of the olty
council was quite snappy and It threat*
ed to be also, a little bit snippy at
times, when discussions waxed
various topics, principally paring,
etc. As usual, each of the gentlemen
expressed themselves quite fPsnldy
and concisely, but all differences were
settled with a vote, the only way
in any business or Institution.
The first matter was a petition from
the residents along Metcalfs avenue
and Colton avenne, asking the city to
force those not connected with a sew*
to do so. The matter was referred
to the health committee for report.
The Ladles Study Class Invited the
mayor and couneil to attend a meet*
