Editor's Disk NO ANSWER EXPECTED The learned gentleman from Brown University, in Providence, who asked President Harding If he had done any thing for the promotion of the “Asso ciation of Nations'' didn't get a reply. He didn’t expect one, but he broached a very pertinent topic. This plan of Harding's was an excuse to evade the League of Nations fight. It camouflage, a pure and simple of the pertinent issue. This Association of Nations ive been promoted in a preparatory as in the Disarmament Conference iliat met in Washington a year ago. The conference did not find time to tackle it nor was it urged upon it by Harding or anybody else responsible for the American debacle In refusing to sign the league covenant. It never will be.
