HARD TO UNDERSTAND
There are a few minor points
Georgia law that we do not thorough
ly understand, which, perhaps. Is ex
cusable under the circumstances. Ons
we do not understand Is that there is
a wide possibility of error in many
regulatory processes of the courts.
We have heard a lot about law and
order and the "necessary delays” that
attend its enforcement, a lot more
than we desire. Yet this is but one
phase of the matter.
For Instance, a justice of the peace
Is required to issue a warraut for anj
man, who desires to prosecute another
man, no matter what the churge or the
evidence. The Justice of the peace
merely issues the warrant. There
have been innumerable cases among
negroes and whites, too. In which this
warrant was merely a process of per

And the Moultrie Observer, ropro
during the above concludes:
The A. B. & A., has had some
severe trials and tribulations. Its
friends are glad to see It coming
out victorious.
It is a splendid railroad. Some
exceptionally fine men are Its
managers and department heads.
They have the good will of the
patrons of the road, and as busi
ness returns to normal in this sec

other lines of business become un
profitable, the A. B. & A., will
become a money-maker.

Business people all along the
line of the A. B. & A., and all over
Georgia will be grattfied to know
that the road has actually earned
more money In the past few
months than It took to operate It.
We know this Is the truth and we
want those who havo been so
deeply concerned about the A. B.
& A., to know the good news.
We believe that the people of
the entire State will be deeply In
terested In the financial condi
tions of the line. The A. B. A A.
will take care of Itself In future
if those excellent business men
who are now In charge of it are
permitted to go on uninterrupted
with the service they are giving.
There was never a larger piece
of foolishness in the heads of
Georgians than the effort made
by some of them to form an or
ganization to save the A. B. A A.
from the junk pile. All they had
to do was to form an organization
to see that it waa let alone and
allowed to proceed in regular
manner with ita busineaa.
We are glad auch a statement
