County Lease Land.
The City Dads held a very abort
session last night and little of import
ance came op-for final action. The
Thomasvllle Marfble Works petitioned
for permission to erect an iron clad
garage on therr property and change
the front. It was referred to the Fire
Committee for report.
Alderman Harris recommended for
the Cemetery committee that the city
lease a strip of land on the Cassady
Road, across from the Stockade <
the county. The lease was fixed in
resolution to extend for a period of 10
years at an annual rental of fifty
dollars, which takes care of Interest
on the purchase price. The strip la to
extend the whole distance of the land

RICHMOND MAN SHOOTS
AND KILLS STENOGRAPHER
Richmond, Va., Dec. 12.—Thomas
Pollard, real estate man, was releas
ed on $10,000 ball late last night
a charge of killing bis stenographer.
Mrs. Thelma Richardson, which

According to the police, Mrs.
Richardson was shot while talking
