A number of people have been interested in the matter but the much desired talk wire has never yet been erected. Mr. Robert Gamble Jr. has been push ing the matter during the last few weeks and definite results will soon be accomplished. The Southern Bell Tele^ phone itself, has announced intention of building the line, instead of allowing it to be done by outside parties. Work on the line will be commenced next month.
