YOUNG MAN
DROPS DEAD
Cairo, Oct. 28.—At an early hour’
this morning Cairo was shocked to
hoar of the sudden death last night
of Seaborn Davis, who held an Im
portant'position with the Cairo Bank
ing Company, itr. Davis was at
work yesterday in bis regular routine
of duties at' the bank and when he
left the place of business late yes
terday afternoon,, no one dreamed
that he was so soon to be claimed
by the reapep Death. Apparently
he was in good health and there was
nothing whatever to indicate that he
was the least bit indisposed.
Last night In company with sev
eral other couples, he attended a cane
grinding several miles out in the
country and while returning from the
place and when the crowd was near
the home of W. B. Hoddenbery, he
was sndenly seized with his last ill
ness. The'young people in the com
pany quickly carried him to the
home of Mr. Roddenbery, but by the
time they reached the bouse it was
too late to relieve. He died in a

Consumption
The only kind of consump
tion to fear is '“neglected
consumption.”
People are learning that con
sumption is a curable disease.
It is neglected consumption
that is so often incurable.
At the faintest suspicion of
consumption get a bottle of
Scott’s Emulsion and begin
regular doses.
The use of Scott’s Emulsion
at once, has, in thousands of
cases, turned the balance in
favor of health.
Neglected consumption does
not exist where Scott's Emul
sion is.
Prompt use of Scott ! s Emul
sion checks the disease while it
can he checked. .

Periodic
Pains.
Dr. Miles’ Anti-Pain Pills
are a most remarkable remedy
for the relief of periodic pains,
backache, nervous or sick head
ache, or any of the distress
ing aches and pains that cause
women so much suffering.
As pain is weakening, and
leaves the system in an ex
hausted condition, it is wrong
to suffer a moment longer than
necessary, and you should take
the Anti-Pain Pills on first in
dication of an attack.
If taken as directed you may
have entire confidence in their
effectiveness, as well as in the
fact that they will leave no dis
agreeable after-effects.
They contain no morphine,
opium, chloral, cocaine or other
dangerous drugs.
