county convened yesterday morning,
after tho recess taken last week to
try the criminal caaes to come up
this term. Only two cases were tried
and both of those were negroes
charged with assault with Intent to
murder.
Otis Sneed waa tried for assault
with Intent to rnufder und found not
guilty, tho prosecution not having
enough ovldenco to convict. It waa
supposed that he had shot at another
negro through a door. Tho negro
prosecuting was arrested for selling
liquor.
