W. Oox passed away after an illness of
several weeks.
The best medical attention was ren
dered him in his illness, but nothing
could oheck the advance of disease.
Throughout his illness he gave evidence
of resignation and Christian hope of
eternal life. His end was peaceful and
beautiful.
Mr. Oox was twenty two years of age
and bad for several years been the effi
cient pressman on The Athens Banner.
He was a popular young man, greatly
beloved by his associates. He was a
member of the First Methodist church
in this city.
