The Wastes of The Body.
Every seven days the blood, muscles
and bones of a man of average size loses
two pounds of woruoat tissue. This
waste cannot be replenished and the
health and strength kept up without
perfect digestion. When the stomach
and digestive organs fail to perform their
furctions, the strength lets down, health
gives way, and disease sets up, Kodol
Dyspepsia Cure enables the stomach and
digestive organs to digest and assimilate
all of the wholesome food that may be
eaten into the kind o? blood that rebuilds
the tissues and protects the health and

Supt. West Says Athens Has
Splendid Telephone

Albert Cosby, colored, was tried be

and fined fifty dollars and costs, and in
default of the payment of the fine he is
to serve twelve months in the chain-

Cosby had a racket with Ida Gresh
am, a negro woman, and tried to kill
her. He is the negro who bought the
oocaine from Will Winfrey, who waB
sentenced by Mayor Rhodes yesterday
for the offense of selling cocaine. Cosby
says he was crazed by the drag and did
not know what he was doing.
Judge Cobb decided that he had bet
ter go to the gang for a while and learn
to do without a drug that causes people
to cat snob capers as he did.
Mr. It. L West, superintendent of
this division of the business of the Bell
Telephone company, who has been here
for several days looking after the im
provements that have been made in the
local exchange, returned to Atlanta last
night.
Mr. West stated that several thousand
dollars had been spent here in the past
sixty days improving the Athens ex-

best telephone eqaipni“nt of any city of
similar size iu the Sonth.
He says the toll line service ont of
Athens is also iu first-class condition
and that oar people will surely be
pleased witb both the local and toll line
service as soon as the employees of the
company get familiar with the new
