gia. She Is the charming represen
tative of aristocratic families, her
maternal grandfather being Ben Hoi '
lls, of Amertcus, Ga., who for years
was a trustee of the University of
Georgia, and a generous contributor
to the college. /
The bride began her education at
Washington seminary, later going to
Lucy Cobb In Athens, Ga. • After
that she attended Miss Summer's
school In Washington, D. C., and fin
ished her education at Oaksmerc
school in New York. She made her
debut last year and has made her

McPherson, and after receiving his
commission served overseas for one

The monthly social of the Chris
tian Church Endeavor Society was
enjoyed in the basement of the
church Thursday evenlnsr when

filled with contests. Each girl

ing. Hal Lewis drew Miss Fannie
Cooper', apron and his work proved
to be the best' and was awarded a

race brought forth a roar of laugh
ter and his waa won by Claude
Burgess and his team. Other games
of like nature were enjoyable.
At the conclusion of tha social
the Endeavor, were invited Into the
