MRS. JULIUS TALMADGE

day was the lovely luncheon hon
oring officers of the American
Colonist who me,t with Mrs. Julius
Taimadge at her charinin? and
very beautiful home on Prince
avenue. .
The, business session followed
the elegant luncheon, whfn covers
were . placody, for twenty-three
guests, all out-of-town visitors. A
color note of green nnd white pre
vailed throughout the richly fur
nished rooms, with a fragrant
touch of pink sweet peus and gor
geous begonias decorating very
artistically the living room. The
null and drawing room
were banked with great bunches
of magnolias and Queen Ann’s
lace handkerchiefs; The elegantly
appointed dining room In antique
mahogany was adorned With ascen
sion lilies- The mantel was banked
with ferns and Queen Ann’s lace
handkerchiefs.
The lovely luncheon table over
laid with an exquisite lace cloth
centered with a silver basket
of the pure white lilies, silver can
dlesticks held the waxen tapers h
and silver dishes the bon bolts.
Several delicious and celebrated
courses were served.
