Whereas on rhe firfi: day of Au~
gnft, tBoB, the fubferiber purchaf
ed of John Sapp, of Morgan coun
ty, a-rafter lar.d in rhe fifteenth
diftricl, and number 245, Baldwin
(now Morgan) county, for which
the fubferiber, as a fecurity for the
payment for faid trafl of land, gave
the faid Sapp three Notes ot hand,
all dated on the firft: day of Augutb
18c8, and payable, as near as the
fubferiber can recoiled:, at the fol
lowing times :—One note for two
hundred dollars payable on the firft
of November, 1808—another for
one hundred dollars payable on the
fi ft of February, 1809 —the other
three hundred dollars, payable on
the 251 bof December, 1810.—
and as a fecurity Hr the titles to
faid land, the fubfer ber took a bond
cf the (aid Sapp, in the peral fum of
one thousand dollars, wnich bond is
either Eft or mid lid, and the faid
Sapp now refufes either to make
titles, or give another bond to le
cure the titles, and is either moved
or about to move to the
country. All perfens are hereby
forwarned not to trade for or take
an alignment of faid notes, as the
fubferiber is determined not to pay
them until he gets titles ro the faid
land, or good and fufficient fecurity
for titles:

nand, and one of the Spanifh royal
captives in France, latelv attempted
