letters, that an increafed adivicy
prevails in the ports of Ferro! and
Corunna.. It is not enough that
the Spanifh marine corps fnould

during a time of anarchy and re
bellion, but it afpires to revenge it

bro't upon the country. It is laid
that even the Cadiz iquadron par
ticipate in this fentiment. A great
movement is projecting upon the
coafts of the ocean, from Holland
quite to Spain.—The French troops
hav-followed the. Enghfh to the
port of Galiicia— perhaps they may
have the happinefs to purfue them fur
ther. Many means offer for pene
trating into infurgent Ireland, and
for feeking the remains of Sir j.

Kent —When Carthage carried her

An epidemic difeafe was faid,
in the French papers, to have bro
ken out at Saragofa, in conitquence
of the fufferiogs and hardfliips en
dured in the flege, and to have car
ried off upwards of twenty thouiand
perfons.

The American veflcl Sulan has
been adjudged good prize to the of
ficers and crews of the Italian and
Syrene frigates. The fame court
has declared good and lawful prize
the merchandize taken out of the
American fhip Augufta, by the
French privateer l’Eve, and con
fifeated the fame for the benefit of
the Marine Invalid Cafe. ?

have been detained in the ports ot
the empire, folely by the (French)
embargo, art permitted to return
directly -to the U. Sxates. This
favor is not extended to fuch veflels
as have been detained on account
of irregular papers, or from any
caufe.
Art. 2. The veftels, the embargo
on which is thus raffed, (hall be
placed in the difpofition of M. Gen
eral Armftrong, minifter plenipo
tentiary cf the U. States, to guar
antee their diredt return to that
country. The bonds given on
their departure fhall only be cancel
led by certificates of our confuls,
&c. in America, that their cargoes
were landed therein, and were com
pofed only of the produdlions, or
induftry of our empire ; and that no
part cf them was the produce of the
foil cf the colonies, or of the com
merce of England. - -

deck and Malachi Cleck, dating to
the Court that Michael Borders de
ceafed, in his life time, to wit, on
the twenty-third day of September,
feventeen hundred and ninety-four,
entered into a c-trtain inftrument of
writing for the conveyance of a cer
tain trad of land to the faid Martin
Cleck and Malachi Cleck, whereon
the faid Clecks then lived, contain
ing two hundred and fifty acres, (a
copy of which is filed in this office)
and that the faid Michael Borders
departed this life without executing
titles to the faid land agreeable to
the faid bond. .

John Borders the executor of faid
Michael Borders do execute titles
