Canada shipped to the United States

The President, has signed the bill to
prevent the introduction of contagious
diseases into the United States,
Fossil tish have been found on the
lofty heights of the Rocky Mountains,
6,000 or 8,000 feet above the present
sea-level.
Mrs. A. T. Stewart, a belle ol

There is a dog law in Indiana to
this effect: “ Every dog is taxed
one dollar, and out of the tund ihu-

sheep kille I, is paid $2.50 tor his
loss. The tax raised always pays for
