First—The object is the accumulation of a
fund by monthly subscriptions or savings ot the
members thereof, to aid them in their business,
or iu procuring such real estate and improving
the same ns they msy deem proper.
Second—They desire to regulate and pre
scribe by their By-Laws, who may be members
of said Association. , , . ■
Tun®—Each stockholder is to pay in par
funds, one dollar each month on each snare ot
stock he or she holds, into the treasury ot stud
Association, so long as said Association con
tinues, at such time and place us the By-Laws
mnv designate. When each stockholder sliall
have received the sum of two hundred dollars,
or property of that value, or an advance or loan
of two hundred dollars for each shave lie .or she
holds as prescribed in section 15 of this charter,
then the Association is to determine and close.
The By-Laws may require each stockholder to
take an advance or loan tor the full amount ot
his or her stock, and prescribe the rules iu re
spect thereto.
foURTU—Should any stockholder tail to pay
his or her dues or premiums ot insurance, as
often a- the same shall he payable as aforesaid,
he or she shall forfeit and pay the additional
sum of ten cents for each dollar thus unpaid,
including interest, flues nnd premiums of in
surance, the same to be charged with the month
ly dues. .
fittii—Should any stockholder, not having
received an advance,’ neglect to pnv his or her
monthly dues or lines for three months, lie or
siie shall receive from tin* Treasurer the amount
of dues actually paid, without interest thereon,
all flues and arrearages, with his ot her pro
portionate part of auv losses or expenses sus
tained, being first deducted, and then cease to
be a member of said Association, or tbe Direc
tors may iu their discretion sell the stock of

factory security, upon real or personal proper
ty, to be judged by tbe Board ot Directors, and
the policy ot insurance on the property pledged,
to be renewed annually at bis or her expense.
The board are empowed. wherever they deem
it neoeaoary, to demand additional security than
that originally accepted. When such addition
al security is required the stockholder shall
receive a written notice from the Secretary tmd
