EASY 10 DARKEN
YOUR GRAY HAIR
You can Bring Back Color and Lustre
with Sagt* Tea and
Sulphur.
Wh»:n you darken your hair with
Sage Tea and Sulphur, no one can
tell, because it's done so naturally,
; so evenly. Preparing this mixture,
though, at home is muijjy and trou
blesome. For 50 cents you can buy
at any drug store the ready*to-use
tor.ic called “Wyeth’s Sage and Sul
phur Compound.” You just dampen
a sponge or soft brush with it and
draw this through your hair, taking
one small strand at a time. By mor
ning all gray hair disappears, and,
after another application or two, your
hair becomes beautifully darkened,
glossy an dluxuriant. You will also
discover dandruff is gone and hair
has stopped falling,
Cray, faded hair, though no dic-
grace, is a sign of old age, and as we
all desire a youthful and attractive
appearance, get busy at once with
Wyeth’s Sage and Sulphur and look
years younger.

Woman Suffrage News
FRIDAY EVENING, JULY 23, IjjlS.
In one respect ths Americanisation
meeting in New Orleans differed
from most of ths eelebratlons of that
nature held throughout the country.
A representation from the Woman
Suffrage association asked that the
program committee include the vital
question of Americanisation of wom-
This request was refused so the
women decided to attend the meet
ing and present their claims without
encroaching on the program time.
What they did nearly monopolised
the audianco, however. As the meet
ing opened, up the street and across
the park came a long procession of
woman dressed in white carrying
brilliantly lighted transparencies.
The procession wound picturesquely
around the mark, through the main
aisle of benches and silently stacked
the banners. The mottoes glowed in
blazing appeal. There was no need
for a woman to speak. Some of the
transparencies read: i
“Oyer 30,000 New Orleana women
are wage-earners. They cannot af
ford to stay at home.
“The working man needs the vote,
so does the working woman.
“The consent of the governed is
true democracy. Women are govern
ed.
“The best chivalry Is justice.
“Men cannot live on chivalry alone.
Neither can women.
“Americanise American women.
We are American bom women.
“Our equals:, idiots, insane and
criminals.
“For 100 year* the women of my
family have paid taxes in Now Ur-
leans.
“Women teach voters, bnt cannot
vote.
“Twelve states give women the
vote. Why not Louisiana T
“Do men need more protection than
women! Give the vote to both-
“Now Orleans has . more tax-paying
women than men.”
SUFFRAGE QUESTIONAIRE.
Preliminary to the election of dele

dates are being checked and posted
at the state suffrage headquarters.
Candidates who ignore or fail to re
ply are checked as opponents. The
communication submitted reads:
1. Do you believe in the justice
of woman suffrage?
2. Are you in favor of giving thn
vote to Louisiana women on equal
terms with men?
3. If you are personally opposed,
do you not think this question of wo
man suffrage, which affects one-half
of the population, should be decided
by submission to the voters?
4. Will you, if elected, use your
influence with other members of $hf
convention to submit to the voters of
th* state a cmiuse to incorporate wo
man suffrage in the new constitution?
St Will you, if elected, vote to
