Only good wheat can produce good flour. Only
the finest wheat can make the finest flour—
Valier’a Dainty Flour is made from the very
best variety of soft winter wheat that is grown.
It is milled itrwty to retain full baking quality of the
Bout and sifted through silk to get fineness. Sometimes
it costs ■ trifle more by the sack, but always it costs
less in use. because it makes more baking. ,

PAINT THIS LIFE WITH
RAYS OF BEAUY.
Paint this life with rays of beauty,
Like a sky that’s blue and bright;
Guide its course with love and duty,
Ever do that which is right.
Should the tears of sin be vernal,
Pluck them whereso-e’er they show;
Plant the seeds of life eternal,
And the fruits of virtue grow.
In this world mid joy and sorrow,
Where God only knows your fate;
Build up good works for the morrow,
Make a name that’s grand 'and great;
While the bliss of earth’s before you,
With bright hopes to cheer your
heart;
Let no vice nor sin allure you,
Do your duty with your might.
Soon you’ll rest in silent slumber,
Soon this earth will cease to roll;
Then you’ll find your name and num
ber,
On dearth's last eternal name scroll.
Then will heaven glow in beauty,
As the angels light your way;.
If on earth you’ve done your duty,
Christ will take your sins away.
God up there e’er relgnr in glory,
In that bright and happy goal;
Though your sins be great and gory
He can save the vilest soul.
—Emmett G. - Blair.
