4 teaspoons baking powder.

1-4 cup. butter or lard.
Z-4 cup .milk (scant).
^ cup cream.
1-4 cup powdered sugar.
1-2 teaspoonrvanilla.

one cup sugar and cook 10 minu

Mix and sift together the flour,
salt, baking powder and sugar.
Work into this the butter, using
