through several hands before we
wear it. We can never truly pros

The fight over in Macon county
on the court house question was
not stopped by tlie recent election
as to whether it should be moved
rom Oglethorpe to Montezuma.
The county commissioners had
already condemned the old court
house and Montezuma was jubi-
ilant at the time, say ing that the
■old one was a disgrace to the
county and very unsafe. But
since tlie election and they lost it
they have interposed a bill of in
junction against the commission
ers to prevent them from building i
a new one, claiming that the old
one is plenty good for years to
come.
Botli sides have employed able
legal advise and the fight grows
