Park has bench space available
The new Elrod Park, across from Ewing Buick, is finished
and a number of individuals have inquired about benches for the
new park.
The consensus is that benches for the new park should be re
membrance benches dedicated to those that have served in the
military, public safety, or public service. Arrangements have been
made with the Perry Funeral Home to supply the benches and
they will arrange engraving, delivery, and set-up.
Benches are available in lengths of 3,3 1/2,and 4 feet. These
benches are made of polished granite and will last for many
years. Only 10-12 benches can be accommodated in the new park
due to space limitations and families may want to consider going
together on the purchase of a remembrance bench.
Call Charles Perry at 567-3366 for further information.
