Mr. II. B. Brockett had a wagon
smashed by a train Thursday even
ing at the crossing near the public
bridge. The negro driver barely
escaped being himself killed. The
horse which was attached to the
wagon at the time was not hurt.

Eldorendo, have the sympathies of
the community in the loss of their
three year-old baby child on Friday
last after a short illness. The re
mains were interred the following
day in tbe family burying ground.
