The new manager is a young man of pleasing address and will no doubt sustain the popularity *of this excellent hotel. Dr. Elder goes from here to Buffalo, N. Y. Dr. R. L. ILicks_ and family left Tuesday for Indian Springs where they will spend the summer, both Dr. and Mrs. Hicks being in bad health. We hope that they will have a pleas- ’ Hut stay at the Springs and that their health may be entirely regained. Messers Joe McFarland, W. W Powell and Douglas Harrell spent seyeral days the first of the week on Spring Creek fishing.
