Miss Maud Archer complimented her friends last Friday night with a delight ful social entertainment. Miss Acriliu Jones, accompanied by her brother, Mr. A. Y Jones, visited rel atives in Lapis, last Sunday. A large number of visitors were in the ootuinutiity Sunday,attending preaching at the Methodi-t church. Mrs. J. C. Parrott returned Saturday from a visit at Eidorendo where she was the guest, of Mrs. Dr. Sessions. A new meat market is being erected in towu. and is located to the rear of Maxwell A Smith’s mercantile business. Dr. D. H. Parker, of Boston, wiil preach at this place on the second Sun day iu this month. It ii hoped that a large congregation will greet him.
