The little daughter of Mr. E. J. Willis,
after suffering for months intensely by
the pfe.-euoe of a sharp piece of boue in
bet* throat whicn had defied the skid of
the surgeons to remove it, to the surprise
and relief of her parents coughed it up
last Monday. The boue was about half
an iuuh long and very sharp at both ends
and oy its presence had formed a pain
ful and dangerous abscess in the throat,
its expulsion insures the speedy recov
ery of the child and the auxious parents

friends,

The small boy with his toy gun is a
terror to costly stained glass windows in
this town. Nothing affords him greater
pleasure than to stand off and take dead

window and let drive the leaden missive.
The sash in the new Presbx terian church
which were recently put in at a cost of
several hundred dollars, the pride of the
cong.egation and an ornament to the
city, are being ruthlessly shattered. On

and. probably by tbis time, others have
suffered the same fate. This is the case
