The fire had enveloped the entire building before it was discovered and hence, tbe fire men were unable to extinguish the Haines before the inside of the build ing had been* destroyed. The fire originated in tlie ironing room. Messrs Krause and Cohen, the pro prietors, estimate their loss at $2,500 the insurance partially covering tbe building to the amount of $2,0Pd. The band boys are putting in some regular practice these days in order that they may be iD readiness loy the coming enaampment begin ning June the 19lh.
