TheTallahaseeean: Last Monday
afternoon there passed by St. Teresa
a party, consisting of a man and
wife and two children, bound for San
Marco, Fla., witch we under stand is
below Charlotte Harbor, they had
started in a little (fiat bottomed boat
from a point up the Flint Kiver,
witch in six miles of Atlanta, Ga.,
mid had been one month last Sunday
on the way. The boat was hardlt
15 feci long, and hud a small sail to
help it along whenever the wind
Happened to be favorable. As state:,
above, the party consisted of a man
wife, and two little children, tin
oldest just able to walk and with
them were two small gray kittens.
The man seemed very confident
of being ablo to make the trip in
safety. We trust he may, but it
seems to be a very dangerous voy
ige.
