Mr. Logan Horry is now with the Oak City Dmg company. Mr. Motes Patton, of Iron City, was in towu Tuesday night on business. Mr. Ira L. Jackson, of Miller county, was in the city Thursday of this week. Post, Muster Jno B Crawtord of Cairo, passed though the city eu route to visit relatives on Chattahoochee river. Mr. A. (I. Perry, of Iron City, was in the city. Wednesday and renewed his subscription to the Search Light. Miss Daisy Griffith, of Bain bridge, is a visitor to the city and is a guest ot Mrs. Arthur Passmore.— Valdosta Times. Mr. Bartow Williams of Steam Mill and one of tho very best citixeus of the county, was iu the city one or two days this week. Miss Minnie Otlinger and tyrnOt-tinger of Q linoy Fla, passed through this city Tuesday eu route to Atlanta tia., where they will spend several weeks. Miss Ot- ringer is one of Quincy’s fairest young ladies and is quite popular anting her many friends in Bainbridge. BRINSON BRIEFS. Mr. ilomer Williams of Waycroas spent .Sunday in Brinson. Mr. E. A. J. Kioh of the Bethel church neighborhood was in town one day this week. Little Miss Eta Brinson left Sunday for Dotialsouville where Rlie will attend school. Mr. K. B. Webster our clever depot agent is the proud father of a fine 10* pound girl. Mr. Frank Richardson who has been quite sick has so far recovered as to be tide to he out. Work on the new Baptist Chinch has been begun, the framing is up and the work will be pushed as rapidly as posal- sihle. The bridge crew of the Plant System are camped at this place doing some trestle work on the bridge across Spring Creek. Mesrs Cleveland Warren and .Guy McCulley have gone to Harnsville where they will ntteml school for the oouiiug tension, Mr. and Mrs. J.. D. Talbert, lost oue of their little children one day last week. The sympathies of the community are with them. Dr. U. L. L. B.idges was called to Cuthbert last Saturday to attend the bedside of bis mother, who was sick. He returned Tuesday. The dedication of the new Methodist church which was postponed some time ago on account of trouble iu securing the seats, will be held on the 6th Sun day in this month. Mr. and Mrs, W. H.
