Butler and Miss Ethel Harrison were quietly married on Wednesday the 20tli iust- The groom is a prosperous young man of Gads, den county Fla, while the bride is a popular young lady of the neighbor hood of Whigham in the Eastern portion of the county. It will be a pleasant surprise to the friends of Mr. S. M. Gibson of Iio i City and Miss Clyde Smith of Steam Mill, to learn of their ap proaching marriage on December 4th. Mr. Gibson is a prominent turpentine man and Miss Smith is one of the very popular young ladies of the county. Last Monday night while the ani mal trainer at one of the midway shows was having a lion and a bear tojperform an act together the lion suddenly became vicious and pounc ed upon the bear and killed him.
