CITATION.
W HEREAS. the Atlantic & Gulf Rail
road Company, the predecessor- of the
Savannah, Florida A W astern Bail way
Company, had, under its chart*,' the
right to bond such branch reads as' it'
might desire from any point or points
on its line towards the North and to
wards the South to such other points as
it might desire, which right and privilege
was acquired by the Savannah, Florida
& Western Railway. Company under its
charter obtained undCT the Act of the
General Assembly of the State of Geor
gia, approved February 28th, 1876, and
this p ■ ivilege and right was further con
firmed and expressly given to the Sa
vannah. Florida A Western Railway
Company tty an Act of the General As
sembly of the State of Georgia, approv
ed September 13th, 1881, and
WHEREAS, the Savannah, Florida A
Western Railway Company was consoli
dated with and necuoie a part of the
Atlantic Const Line Railroad Company,
which ucquired all the rights and privi
leges hereinbefore recited: and
WHEREAS, the Atlantic Coast Line
Railroad Company desires to build a
branch line from the 233th mile post
from Sauannah, Ga.. to Cohn A Com
pany’s plantation, in Decatur County.
Georgia, and has already laid out and
selected a route between said two points
upon which it desires to build said
branch line: Now, be it
RESOLVED, by the Boaid of Direc
tors of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad
Company that a branch road or exten
sion of the Company, about ten miles in
length, shall be built on the following
designated route: From a point on its
present line in Land Lot No. forty-five
45], Twentieth [20tlvj District of Deca
tur County, Georgia. 230 miles from
Savannah, Georgia, ‘and 2 miles from
Climax. Georgia, extending southwardly
about ten miles to a point near the
northeast corner of Land Lot No. nine
teen [19[, Twentieth District of Decatur
County. Georgia, through the following
Land Lots, all in the Twentieth [20th]
District of Decatur County. Georgia, to-
wit: Land Lots forty-five [45], forty-
six [40], forty-seven 1471, forty-eight [48],
forty-nine [49], fifty [50], fifty-one [51],
fifty-two [52]. fiftv-three [58].. fifty-four
[54]. sixty-seyen [67], fifty-five [55], fifty-
six [56].’fifty-seven [57]. twenty-four
[24], twenty-three [33]. eighteen [18] and
nineteen [19], and be it turther
RESOLVED. that these resolutions
shall be advertised once a week for lour
weeks in one of the newspapers in which
Sheriff’s advertisements are published
in Decatur County, Georgia, and that a
certified copy of these resolutions and
of said advertisement shall be filed in
the office of Secretary of State of
Georgia.

bridge, Decatur County, Georgia, les-
pectluUy shows,
1st. That they desire for themselves,
their associates, successors and assigns
to beoome incorporated under the name
and style of the Georgia Pine Lumber
Company. -
2nd. Term for whioh petitioners ask
to be inoorporatsd is twenty (20) years
with privilege of renewal at that time.
3rd. The capilol stock of said corpo
ration is to be Three Thousand (63000)
Dollars, all of which is paid in. Petition
ers, however, ask the privilege to in
crease said capital stock from time to
time not exceeding Twenty-five Thous
and (f25000.00) Dollars.
4th. ‘"The object of the proposed cor
poration is pecuniary profit and gain to
its stock holders. Petitioners propose
to oarry on a general Brokerage and
Commission business, the baying and
selling of all kinds of lumber, timber
lands, machinery, and any articles that
may with profit be handled in oonneo
tion with said business; to own and op
erate saw mills. Commissnrys tram
roads and all appurtenances thereto;
to deal in real estate, to own. sell, lease
buy or rent property of all kinds, to
borrow and to loan money , to buy, lease,
sell o. mortgage or otherwise incumber
real estate and other property, and to
do all other acts and things necessary
for the futherance of their business and
profit
5th The principal offioe and place
of business of the proposed corporation
will be in the town of Bainbridge. Ga.,
said County and State, but petitioners
ask the privilege to move said office at
any time in the discretion of the stock
holders to any adjacent county of this
state or anv other state' and to further
operate and conduct branch offices at
Buch places in this state or any other
states as they shall see fit.
Wherefore, petitioners pray that they
be made a body corporate under the
name and style aforesaid, entitled to
the privileges and immunities and sub
ject to the liabilities fixed by law.
