this privilege and right was further con
firmed and expressly given to the Sa
vannah, Florida Ac Western Railway
Company by an Act of the General As
sembly of the State of Georgia, approv
ed September 13th, 1881, and
WHEREAS, the Savannah, Florida At
Western Railway Company was consoli
dated with and Deoarne a part of the
Atlantio Coast Line Railroad Company,
whioh acquired all the rights and privi
leges hereinbefore recited: and
WHEREAS, the Atlantic Coast Line
Railroad Company desires to build a
branch line from the 230th mile post
from sauamiah, Ga., to Cohn Ac Com
pany’s plantation, in Decatur County,
Georgia, and has already laid out and
selected a route between said two points
upon which it desires to build said
branch line: Now, be it
RESOLVED, by the Hoard of Direc
tors of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad
Company that a branch road or exten
sion of the Company, about teu miles in
length, shall be built on the following
designated route: From a point on its
present line in Land Lot No. forty-five
451. Twentieth [20th] District of Deca
tur County, Georgia, 280 miles from
Savannah, Georgia, and 2 miles from
Climax.Georgia, extending southwardly
about ten miles to a point near the
northeast corner of Land Lot No. nine
teen [19[, Twentieth District of Deoatur
County. Georgia, through the following
Land Lots, all in the Twentieth ,{20th]
District of Decatur County. Georgia, to-
wit: Land Lots forty-five [451. forty-
six [461, fortv-seven 1471, forty-eight [48],
forty-nine [49], fifty [60]. fifty-one [51],
fifty-two ,[52], firtv-three[58] fiftv-tour
[54], sixty-seven167], tit'ty-fiveJSS], titty-
six [56], fifty-seven [57]. twenty-four
[24], twenty-three [28], eighteen [18] a
nineteen [191. and he it further
RESOLVED, that these resolutions
shall be advertised once a week for tour
weeks in one of the newspapers in which
Sheriff’s advertisements are published
in Decatur County. Georgia, and that a
certified copy of these resolutions and
of said advertisement shall he filed in
the office of Secretary -of State of
Georgia.
