To Extend Road.
A special to Monday’s Atlanta
Constitution from Columbus con
tained the announcement that
active interest was being mani
fested in that city to have the
Georgia, Florida & Alabama Rail
way-extended from Cuthbert to
Columbus. For some time it has
been known that Mr. Williams
and the directors of the road had
an eye to the extension to Colums
bus, but the matter has been re
vived and the people of Columbus
seem to think that they will secure
the road. The Board of Trade cf
that city has extended a formal
invitation to President Williams
to meet them and to make them
some definite proposition, and inti
mating that they were ready to
meet any reasonable-demand.
Just what the extension of the
road to Columbus would mean to
Bainbridge, we are not in position
to know, but we are sure that it
would mean the opening of a great
outlet to wholesale merchants of
Columbus. Of course it would
give us railway outlets that we
have not now, and would in a gen
eral way add to the growtb-otf the
town. In addition to this, it would
prove a source of great conve
nience to those who go and come
from Columbus to,Bainbridge.

IS THAT GUN OF YOURS
ALL RIGHT?
Dont take chance on it. It is
not only useless bnt dangerous to
handle a gun in poor condition.
A little work on our part and a
small expenditure of money on
yours, will put your Sporting Ri
fle, Shot Gun or Revolver in thor
ough repair.
GUN REPAIRING
has been made a special study and
there is no job too complicated
for us to successfully handle, or
too small tor us to treat with the
greatest attention.
