These bonds bear eight percent annually—payable on the first day of February and August in each
year after date. Date of bonds August ist, 1903. These bonds contain the provision that they will be
entitled to the same dividends as the stock; the rate of interest to be included in dividends to bondholders
The interest together with the dividend is payable at the First Nationa. Hank of Bainbridge, Georgia.
The interest and principal of said bonds will be secured by a first mortgage upon the plant of the com
pany. The life of these bonds is the same as that of the stock. The success of similar plants is an as*
sured fact. The directors of the company feel perfectly safe in saying these bonds will not pay less than
20 Percent
Similar plants have paid and are paying more. With the advantages of the location of this plant
upon the Flint river, we heleive we will do as well as any other plant in the whole south. Wo such oppor

Mrs. Sizemore and Mrs. Andrews,

Mr. and Mrs. Keefe, of Jackson
ville, are the guests of Mesdames
Cobb and Lewis this week.
Mrs. Hattie Duncan, of Dutton,
Fla., is visiting her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Oscar Harrell'this week.
Miss liuby Fleming, of Blakely,
Ga., is expected here soon on a visit
to her cousin, Miss Lois Bower.
Mrs. M. A. Bell and sister, Mrs.
Wm. Owens, visited friends at Cli
max Saturday and Sunday last.
A grand Masonic rally and dinner
will bo given in the grove near the
pool at this place on July 17th.
Miss May Bower and little brother,

Mr. Charles Maxwell,of Pine Hill,
N. C., was in Whigham Saturday,

Dr. Calvin Graham, who has been
quite sick for the past week at the
home of Mr. Nath. Jones at this
place, is ont again.
Mr. Moye, manager of Lane &
Johnson’s naval stores business, ac

Wednesday morning, after a pleasant
visit to Mr. and .Mrs. Peeble.
Mr. Samp Williams from near
Cairo was in town Tuesday. Mr.
Williams is one of the noted melon

Col. Eugene Thomas and wife,
from near Calvary, were here shop
ping Monday. They will soon leave
