in favor in Bainbridge. Every one

We wish to call attention to the

appears elsewhere in this issue. Mr.
MoCulley, although engsged in busi
ness in Brinson for some time has
heretofore devoted most of his time
to his turpentine interests in Florida;
recently however he has returned to
Brinson and intends to engage ex
tensively in the mercantile business.
One day last week Mr. Gas Brin,
son, who lives a few miles west of
Pelham, accidentally shot himself in
the arm. necessitating tbe amputa
tion of that member. He had taken
tbe gnn into the field and leaned it
against a stump. In leaving the
field he raised.tbe gun by tbe bar
rel, the hammer was drawn baok and
the load entered his right arm. The
wounded man is doing well.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter S. Thomp
son, Miss Linda Gordon and Miss
Rebecca Thompson, will oome over
from Bremen, Germany, the middle
of November to spend some time.
Mr. Thompson will have several
gentlemen from Philadelphia with
him and they will enjoy a hunt of
several days on Col. and Mrs. John
Cl E. Donalson’s plantation.—Atlanta

interests. Rev. Piper resided in this

Northern Methodist Conference
