More Work For Bainbridge
Work was begun first of this
week on the rebuilding of the G.
F. & A. shops that were burned
down here some weeks ago. It
is understood that the shops will
be put back in a more substan
tial manner than at first, and
that probably some additional
buildings will be erected.
Work will also begin about the
15th of June on paving the
streets, which will add quite a
force to the number of men em
ployed in the city. These, to
gether with work on the school
building and the new bridge and
trestle for the Coast Line, will
make Bainbridge have the ap
pearance of a city many times
her sizi.
HEAT REDUCTION FURNITURE SALE AT LANE SALTER’S
e have bought out the entife stock of the Pierce Furniture & Carpet Co., and will, dur-
£the month of June, give some of the best bargains in Furniture ever enjoyed by the
>ple of Bainbridge and this section.
'his is all done for the reason that we want to combine the stocks of both stores ipto
e. The stock we have just bought is. very large in every department. The stock car-
d in our store corner of Broad and Water streets is also very large. We must reduce
tm down in order to get all the goods in one building. We have greatly reduced
ces on many articles at both places in order to get the goods in one store.
