Petition For Charter.
State of Georgia-Decatur Co.
To the Superior Coui}; of
said County
The petition of V. G. Riels and
A. R. Riels, of Early county and
G. H. Gretn of Decatur county,
showet h:
1st. That they desire for them- j
selves, associates and successors,!
to be incorporated and made a
body politic under the name of
“Sons and Daughters of King
Mathews Temple,” for the per
iod of twenty years.
2nd. The principal office of
said Corporation shall be Bain-
bridge, Ga. They desire the
right to establish branches, in
side and outside the State, all
under the supervision and regu
lation of the Main body in Bain-
bridge, Ga.
3ra. The Officers shall be Presi
dent, Vice-President, Secretary,
Treasurer, and Chaplain, and
such other officers as said Cor
poration may deem necessary.
4th. The object of said corpor
ation is to do religious, misson-
ary and charitable work, and not
for pecuniary gain. It has no
capital stock.
6th. The corporation desires
the right of caring for its sick,
needy, and infirm, and burying
its dead; and appropriating and
paying such sums to and for the
aforesaid as may be prescribed
by said corporation.
6th. To adopt such By-Laws
and fix such initiation fees and
dues and lease, purchase, sell,
encumber, or otherwise dispose
of such real and personal proper
ty as may be useful in carrying
out its objects.
WHEREFORE, petitioners
pray to be incorporated under
the name and style aforesaid,
with the powers, privileges and
immunities set forth, and as are
now, or hereafter allowed a cor
poration of similar character un
der the laws.

made by the said Attapulgus
Tobacco Bank, payable to John
D. Walker with interest after
maturity at the rate of eight per
cent per annum, and ten per
cent of principal and interest as
attorney’s fees which said note
the said defendant refuses to
same, and for other pur-

It is therefore ordered that the
said Attapulgus Tobacco Bank, a
firm composed of J. T. Pitman,
T. J. Barrow, T. J. Mitchell, W.
L. Miller, Ben Clements, H. T.
Sapp, J. P. Botts, John R. Wil
son, John D. Walker, and the
heirs at law of B. C. Thomas,
W. R. Thomas, Mrs. Lizzie Max
well, Mrs. Jennie Donalson, Mrs.
J. M. Vereen, O. B. Thomas,
and Mrs. Viola Sapp, pay into
this Court, on or before the first
day of the next term, the prin ;
cipal and interest due on said
ncte, and the costs of said suit;
or in default thereof the Court
will proceed as to justice shall
appertain.
And it is further ordered, that
this Rule be published in the
Bainbridge Search Light and the
Bainbridge Post, newspapers
published in said Decatur county,
once a month for four months; or
served on said Defendant or its
special agent or attorney, three
months previous to the next term
of this Court. This May 13th,
1912.
