nervous state for several years
and have suffered principally
from stomach trouble. I would
go for months at a time with
out eating any solid food and up
to a short time ago, spent most

too weak to come down stairs.
I ate some corn bread and spare
ribs for dinner today and they
seemed to agree with me perfect

after effects whatever. The
horrible headaches and nervous
ness are gone and I am feeling
so much better in everyway.
Mrs. Martin, who was the
next to testify, said:
“I have suffered a great deal
from hard, darting pains in my

trouble. I hardly ever have
pain now the catarrh no longer
troubles me and my appetite is
much better.”
Mrs. Fink said:
“I was sick all last summer

suffer from the headaches I had
so much.”
Mrs. Wallis seemed to be
especially delicate and had
very weak constitution and weak
stomach. Mrs. Wallis said:
“In only cne week after taking
your medicine I began to feel
greatly improved. I feel very
much stronger, enjoy my meals
more and seem to rest better at
night. I expect to continue tak

In referring to the above state

now personally directing the
introductions of Tanlac through
out the south, said:
“I consider the statements of
the old ladies the most remark

observation. I do not hesitate to
say that I fcelieve these indorse

Quoting from one of Mr.

DESSER NEWS
The entertainment at our
school last Friday night was a
great success. A large crowd
was present and all enjoyed the
evening. The school gave a
short Washington program after
which talks were made-by Prof.
Jordan and three candidates.
Mrs. S. L. Fielding chaperoned
a crowd of young people last
Saturday on a trip to get shade
trees to put in the school grounds
and we have twelve trees set
out now. Messers. Barber and
Wood should call by and see the
trees which we named for them.
Miss Reese of the Donalson
ville school will impersonate
Mary Cary, at Desser school,
Friday night March 10th. This
will be a good chance for all the
people to spend a pleasant even
ing with Mary Cary, and as Miss
Reese will give the school half
the proceeds, we think the
patrons should patronize her.
We are sorry to report Mrs.
Homer Wallace being on the
sick list but hope she will soon
be able to be among her many
friends who miss her very much.

Mr. Joseph Faircloth. Mr. J. C.
Earnest pronounced the solemn
words which made them man
and wife. Mr. and Mrs. Melton
have many friends who wish for
them a happy and prosperous
future.
Messrs. Jimmie Landers and
Paul Neely, of Quincy, Fla.,
were in our burg last Sunday
seeing after their future welfare,
so they said, and if there-is any
thing in signs we think they
will soon decide on ’ ‘light house
keeping,” and we certainly hope
they will.
Several of the Donalsonville
High School boys attended the
entertainment at our school last
Friday night.
Mr. C. E. Gandy and family
and Mr. S. L. Fielding and his
family ate supper at the “Old
Maids Hall” Sunday night and
they all had a jolly time at a
table that was made “just for
two,” but even old maids like to
have company.
