Dear Mary:---
I want you to do me a favor. It is nearly Xmas
again and I must buy some presents. I want you to
go over and see my sister Agnes and my husband’s
mother and find out what they Would like best for
their homes.
I know they would rather have furniture than
anything else for a Christmas gift, but I want you
to diplomatically learn just what they would like
and let me know,
I'll return the favor. And then I want you to
help me select. Will you?
Thanks in adVance---HELEN.
