purchasers of Liberty Bonds for the
Fourth Issue. Quite a number of
names have not been turned in as
the committees did not get them com
piled in time. If yours is not here
and you have bought one, it will be
on the next publication. If you have
not bought, why not? This is your
war as \$el! as any one else’s. It is
expected that Farmers of the countn
will take heavily of this issue as they
were somewhat handicapped in the
spring. Many were keenly anxious

spring crops they were not in posi

CLUB IS GROWING
How Many More Citizens in Decatur
County Will Join This Club and
Buy $100.00 Worth of Stamps
By January 1st, 1918.
The $100.00 War Saving Stamp club,
which was begun through the columns
of this paper several weeks ago, has
been growing since the plan was sug

During the first week six joined this
club and more WO’dd have joined had
it not been for .'ie limited time which
the $100.00 members would have to
purchase, i finish purchasing, their
stamps. R since Mr. Gaulding
suggested 1 plan to Miss Merle Rob

with her she has decided to give the
Decatur county people more time in
which to buy their stamps.
Those who are at all informed ns
this county is FAR BEHIND in get

take the united efforts of every man,
woman, and child, in the county in
order to meet this quota by Jnnuary

think it a wiser plan to have 500 peo
ple join- the $100.00 club and promise
to buy their stamps by the last of
this your, than to hnvc only twenty-

The great buildings for the Geor-

the interior touches in preparations
for the opening date, October 21, and
there is every indication that the new
plant will prove very attractive and
convenient to the thousands of
people who will visit the fair this

by street cars and ample car facili

are also four streets leading from the

to meet the needs of the Georgia-

convenience necessary to the success

in them. There are large, well lighted
domes, making the interior of the
buildings especially suitable for dis

The live stock barns are the
