Whereas, Death ha\ ing invaded the ranks of our 1 company, we are coiled noon to mourn the loss of i our beloved friend and fellow Fireman, JOSEPH IL CRAWFORD, who died in this city on the 31st of October last, of Congestion of the Brain, in the 19th 1 i year of his age, in the morning of his life and useful- I ness -and whereas we deeply feel the loss we have sustanined, be it therefore Resolved, That in the death of our brother, Joseph . B. Cr vwrottp, we deplore the loss of a good and ener- ' getic Fireman, a noble, generous friend. Resolved, That while we bow with becoming rev erence to the dispensation of Providence, wc are con soled by knowing it is the will of Him whodoeth all j things well. Resolved, That our warmest sympathies are awa- , kened in behalf of the family and friends of the de i ceased, and to them wc tender our sincere condo- ' ' knee.
