MONEY PLENTY.
The Columlnis papers of the 24th inst.. re
port the sale of 980 luil.s of cotton in that

the same day, were 11 3-4 a 11 fits < r about

us into another crisis. Money is going tube

BAD POLICY
The Democratic Party <>f Georgia (says the ‘
Cassville “Standard”) is too much under the j
lead of men who were but recently Whigs, and !
the sooner we “right about-face.” the better it
will be for the good of the party. They are
giving the Democracy trouble, and the sooner
their places are filled by “sinion pure” Demo
crats, the better it will be torus. They will
continue to give us trouble as long as our party
pursues its present policy of making them it*
leaders while old and well-tried Democrats,
ftho have always been faithful, are shelved, to
make room for the new consort*.
Who believes that Herschel V. Johnson.
Charles J. McDonald, or other old and well
tried Democrats, would be engaged in the dis
reputable undertaking of trying to build up h
Douglas party in Georgia—as is being attempt
gd by Messrs. Toombs, Stephens, \\ right, and
others? Who believes that if our entire dele
gation in Congress was composed of old line
Democrats, (as it should be) they would now
be giving “aid and comfort" to the little trick 1
•ter of the West?—Democrats, how long si all
these things continue?
We go in for placing old and well tried Dem
ocrats in the lead of our party —particularly
•o after the demonstration that is now being
made by a portion of our leaders, to lead Dem
ocrats from their duty. “Democracy and no
thing lint Democracy—Democrats and only
Democrats,” should be the watchword.

One of the most intelligent and reliable far

This remedy is simple arsenic, in the propor
