DEAFNESS CANNOT BE CURED
by local applications, as they cannot
reach the diseased portion of the ear.
There is only one way to cure deafness,
aud that is by constitutional remedies.
Deafness is caused by an inflamed con
dition of the mucous liniug of the
Eustachian Tubo. When this tube gets
inflamed you have a rumbling sound or
imperfect hearing, aud when it is en
tirely closed deafness is the result, aud
unless the inflammation can be taken
out and this tube restored to its normal
condition, hearing will be destroyed
forever; nine cases oat of ten are caused
by catarrh, which is nothing but an in
flamed condition of the mucous surfaces.
Wo will give One Hundred Dollars
for any case of Deafness (caused by
catarrh) that cannot be cured by Hall’s
Catarrh Cure. Send for circulars free.

In Memory
Of little Joe Hardy who departed
this life April 25th. We did all in our
power aud the doctor in his medical
skill butit was all in vain. It was the
Lord’s will to take him. He was such
a sweet little boy and it was a sad part
ing to Lid him farewell. It has left a
home vacant but he is not dead but
sleeping in the arms of Jesns, who has
said ‘ Suffer little children to come un
to me and forbid them not, for of such
is the kingdom of heaven.
WHOOPING COUGH.
I had a little boy who was nearly dead
from an attack of whooping cough. My
neighbors recommended Chamberlain’s
Cough Remedy. I did not think that
any midicine would help him, but after
giving him a few doses of that remedy
I noticed an improvement, andoLebot
the cured him entirely. It is the best
cough medicine I ever had in the house.
