of the Christian church, was in the city
one day this week in the interest of his
work. He will visit all his churches in
this section during the next two weeks,

in the cause he represents, the churches
should give him their presence and en
couragement.
Mr. Jno. W Moon, oue of our good
friends over on the Mulberry, remem
bered us this week with a basket full of
fine cherries. Mr. Moon raises every
thing on his farm that is good to eat
and generally has something to sell.

at the night exercises of commencement
it ought to be published before hand so
that the people will know it. This
would prevent much confusion and

church just below Winder in Walton

Mr. P. E. Williams of the Lamberton
Headblock, Mississippi, joined his fam
ily here yesterday and will spend a
week or more enjoying the pure air and
cool water of Winder. He and family
are the guests of Mrs. Anna Camp,
mother of Mrs. Williams, and MrsN. J.
Kelly, her sister. The Economist
wishes for editor Williams a pleasant
time during his stay among us.

not seem to affect it, on account of being
low and flat, and he is having vegeta
