Executors’ Sale.
Agreeably to an order ol the court of
Ordinary of Jackson county, will be
sold at public out-cry at the court house
door in Jefferson, Jackson county Geor
gia, on the first Tuesday in January
within the legal hours of sale, the
following property to wit:
One lot commencing at the dead post
oak on the road and running N 86 W
0 14 to a piue stake, and thence N 52%
E 12 to a rock; thence 8 13% E 8.10 to
the road; thence S 61 W along the Jef
ferson and Harmony Grove road to the
beginning corner, containing 7,% acres,
more or less and adjoining lands of J.
Al. Wdhite, H. C. Barnett and others.
Second lot beginning at a rock on the
corner of Alcßee’s orchard, S 52'- 3 to
rock at the side of the road near the
Jesse Williams lot, now the Barnett.
8.66; thence N E along the road towards
Jeff Alcßee’s house to a rock; thence
S 21) E 3 25 to the beginning rock corn
er, containing 50 acres, more or less.
Both lots are in one tract and on it a
one three-room dwelling house, baru
and stables aud one good well of water.
Said laud lies in Harrisburg district,
alrout two miles from Jefferson, and
sold as the property of W. A. Worsham,

Whereas, the appraisers appointed to
appraise and set apart a twelve months
support to Maud Peudergraae, out of the
estate of J. W. Pendergrass, deceased,
have filed their return and report. This
is to notify heirs and creditors, to show
cause, if any they can, why an crder
should not be grauted, setting apart the
property assigned by the appraisers as a
twelve mouths support, on the first
Mouday in January 1900 Given un
