Judge Russell showed us the draw
ings of the handsome three story brick
building that the Knights of Pythias
will erect on Candler street.

Will Leave Tomorrow.
Rev. Tiios Chapman will leave to
morrow for Atlanta where he will occu
py the pulpit of Dr. McGlanflin Sunday.
Erom there he will go to Camp Hill,
Ala., to attend the commencement
exercises of the Southern Industrial
college of the Universalist chutch.
After a few days spent at Camp Hill,
lie will go to South Georgia in the in
terest of the Universalist church. He
will not return to Winder, his home,
before July Ist. Mr. Chapman is a hard
worker and one of the representative
ministers of his church in the South.

Mr. J. A Askew, son of Mr. Elbert
Askew, died at his father’s home in
Jefferson on last Friday morning after

Hoschton High School.
The closing exercises of Hoschton
High School will take place on Mon
day morning and Monday night of the
21st inst., and will consist of declama
tions, recitations, debates and dramas.

been very prosperous and the closing
exersises will be largely attended

at 40,003, and the number of visitors at
100,000. The bulk of them will travel
part of the way by the SEABOARD
