To the Superior Court of said county.
The petition of of J. D. Watson,
I. H. Glover, and Mrs. V. V. Braddy,
of said/county, respectively shows:
Ist.
That petitioners desire to be incor
porated under the name of Watson-
Glover & Company, for a period of
twenty years, with the right to renew
said charter at the expiration of said
time. The object of said corporation
is pecuniary gain and to carry on and
maintain a general mercantile busi
ness in the City of Winder, to buy and
sell gpods, wares and merchandise, cot
ton, corn, groceries, meats, and any
other articles that may be dealt in by
said corporation , to do a brokerage
business in any and all kinds of com
modities, to make contracts, borrow
money, loan money, sue and he sued,
and do any and all acts that may be
necessary in the operation of said bus
iness.
2nd.
That the principal place of said bus
iness will be in the City of Winder,
Barrow county, Georgia.
3rd.
That the capital stock of said cor
poration shall be $10,000.00, divided
into shares of SIOO.OO each, and they
desire to begin in business when $5,-
000.00 of the stock is paid in.
4th.
That petitioners desire that said cor
poration may have the right to elect
a Board of Directors by vote of the
stockholders, and elect a President,
Vice President and Secretary and
Treasurer by said Board of Directors,
and have and make all necessary by
laws, rules and regulations that are
necessary and may be proper for the
carrying on of said business, and also
have and use a common seal.
Whereof, petitioners file this their
petition in the office of the Clerk of the
’Superior Court, and pray that after the
same has been advertised as required
by law. that the Court by proper order
grant this petition.

To the Superior Court of said county.
Southern Trading Corporation, a cor
poration of Winder, Georgia, brings
this its petiton and shows to the court
the followng facts:
1.
That Southern Trading Corporation
is a corporation duly chartered and in
corporated by the Superior Court of
Barrow county.
2.
That is desires to surrender its said
charter and franchises as a corporation
and to be dissolved by the order and
decree of the Superior Court of Bar
row county.
3.
That a meeting of the stockholders
of said corporation, duly called for
that purpose, a resolution was adopted
by the affirmative vote of the owners
of more than two-thirds and in fact of
ill the capital stock of said corpora
tion resolving that the corporation
shall surrender its charter and fran
chise to the State and be dissolved as
a corporation.
4.
That such, dissolution may be al
lowed without injustice to any stock
holder, all of said stockholders having
voted affirmatively for the resolution,
and such dissolution may lie allowed
without injustice to any person having
claims or demands of any character
against said corporation.
Wherefore, petitioner prays that an
order be passed by the Court fixing a
time and place of hearing on this pe
tition and that on sues hearing a de
cree be entered accepting a surrender
of its charter and franchises to the
State and dissolving the said corpora
tion as is provided hy law.

SIX O’CLOCK DINNER.
Quite an elaborate affair was a seven
course dinner given by Miss Helen Ar
nold at her home on Broad street De
cember 25th in honor of her guest,
Miss Mary Duncan, of Arnoldsville
The parlor was lovely its deco
rations in holly and evergreens. Also
pot plants to suit the occasion. At
6:00 o’clock the guests were invited in
the dining room and nothing looked
more picturous than the table with a
lovely lace center-piece with a beauti
ful Christmas tree in the center. Covers
were laid for six. with the place cards,
ertended wth ribbon from the tree with
cupids at each plate, which represented
the Christ-child and His birth. Miss
Arnold was assisted in entertaining
by Mrs. Fannie Steed. Those to en
joy this occasion were Miss Mary Dun
can of Arnoldsvlje, Mr. Roy Long, of
Comer, Mr. Hall of Arnoldsville, Mrs.
